SWINFORD, COUNTY MAYO

Swinford, is a busy market town, located on the N5 primary route, on a tributary of the well known River Moy.

Swinford town lies only sixteen kilometres (ten miles) from Knock International Airport, and about twenty five minutes drive from Castlebar, the capital town of county Mayo.

Swinford famous for it's fishing, especially the Callow lakes which have brown trout. Swinford is also close to the popular fishing lakes of Cullin and Conn.
