BALLYHAUNIS
Ballyhaunis is a town located in county Mayo, on the West coast of Ireland. It is situated at the crossroads of the N83 and N60 major roads. It is also on the train line route from Dublin to Ballina.
Ballyhaunis is now a cosmoplitan town, with a population of over two thousand. Even before Ireland's recent time of economic increase, there were children of many nationalities attending schools in Ballyhaunis.
There are a couple of primary schools situated in the town, these are St Joseph's Primary and Scoil Iosa National school.
The Secondary School in the town has been there since September nineteen seventy seven, after the amalgamation of Ballyhaunis's 3 post-primary schools.
