BALLA, COUNTY MAYO

Balla is a village located in County Mayo, Ireland. The village lies on the N60 major road between Claremorris ans Castlebar.

The village of Balla relies mostly on passing trade, from the N60 major road, which has more than seven thousand vehicles passing through each day.

The village will be by-passed when the Castlebar-Claremorris road is built.

Balla has a single street,and is well known for it's round tower. It used to be a large shop and market centre.
