ABOUT KNOCK AIRPORT
Knock airport is located in County Mayo, near the West coast of the Republic of Ireland.
The airport has been open since 1986, and in 2008, more than 600,000 passengers used it. It is now the fourth International airport.
Ireland West Airport Knock is now the major International flying gateway to the West of Ireland. It serves in excess of twenty charter and scheduled across Europe.
AIRPORT INFORMATION
Ireland West Knock airport has one very busy terminal, and 10 check in desks. There are 2 gates and also one baggage belt.
- The Information desk is situated close to the entrance, near the arrivals area.
- For Finance, The Bank of Ireland ATM is situated on the ground floor level in the arrivals area, accepting euros only.
- For Eating and Drinking, The Runway bar serves snacks, sandwiches and drinks. The Airport Knock Restaurant provides a full meal menu and also snacks. There is a shop situated on the ground floor near the bar, and serves a wide variety of snacks and also duty free for non EU travellers.
- For Business, there are card or coin telephones, and there is an Internet Kiosk situated in the arrivals area.
- For other services, information is available on the Knock Shrine at the special office on the ground floor level.
The airport serves many airlines including Aer Arann, Ryanair, British Airways, BMI baby, BMI regional, Deutsche BA and several more.
